Dylan Michael Bowden (he/him) is an artist and educator based in New York City, currently studying at Columbia University as a Founders’ Scholar and Columbia Collaborate Fellow. He graduated, magna cum laude, as a Presidential Scholar from Rhode Island College and studied acting, musical theatre, and directing at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center. Dylan has worked with colleges and festivals across the country, teaching workshops in Droznin movement and Musical Theatre. Selected teaching credits include: Loyola University (Chicago), Fordham University (Lincoln Center), Brandeis University, Southern Connecticut State University, and Buffalo State University; KCACTF Regions 4, 7, & 8. He was also a fellow of the Kennedy Center’s Institute of Theatre Journalism and Advocacy, where he worked with NPR’s Bob Mondello and the Washington Post’s Chris Klimek. Dylan’s freelance artistry extends further from acting, directing, and teaching, to playing the accordion.
